Jason was born in Minot, ND on September 19, 1965. He obtained his undergraduate degrees from the University of North Dakota (B.S., B.A. 1988) and his law degree from the University of North Dakota Law School (J.D., with distinction) in 1991. He was admitted to the North Dakota Bar in 1991 and the Minnesota Bar in 1993.
Jason has extensive trial and appellate experience in the North Dakota State and Federal Courts. He holds memberships in Ward County Association, State Bar Association of North Dakota, North Dakota Defense Lawyers Association, and is the North Dakota Chairman of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys. Among his numerous distinctions, Jason is designated as a Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers.com and he is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell. He is also a fellow of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Society of Barristers.
Jason’s litigation practice includes Insurance Defense, Personal Injury, Oil and Gas Litigation, Automobile Accidents and Injuries, Wrongful Death, Products Liability and Business Litigation. He is also a certified mediator and has extensive experience as a mediator and as an advocate at mediations.
